Nature walk, retreat, workshop for self discovery

MyNature-MySelf wants to promote taking healthy responsibility for oneself  and nature through changing perspective of the self.

 

I believe that problems such as climate change, wasting or abusing natural resources stem from people’s disconnection from nature, perceiving nature as separate from the self.

​

Mindful Movement Nature Walk is based on Daoist philosophy that the body is influenced by nature and environment, and vice versa.

 

There is evidence from a Japanese practice called Shinrin-yoku (forest-bathing) that walking amongst the trees helps to ‘detox’ the negative energies around the physical body, lowering heart-rate and blood pressure, and reducing the levels of stress hormones.
 

We need to expand on the wider body of knowledge of how trees and people are connected and affect each other.
